Marcy CL503 Exercise Bike
Our score -
For those of you looking for a solid, no frills exercise bike from a trusted brand, we recommend the CL503 from Marcy.
Its compact size means that it is ideal for when space is at a premium and it has enough features to be a valuable part of anyone's
"get fit" regime.
The seat is fully adjustable and we couldn't fault it for comfort ( even with our trim derrieres :-) )
Granted the display on the CL503 is basic, but it's easy to read and gives you all the workout information you need including speed time and distance as well as theoretical calories burned and a pulse scan. Built in pulse grip sensors in the handlebars provide the pulse reading.
Resistance is provided with tried and tested magnetic resistance along with a 5kg flywheel. You just turn a knob to select one of the 8 available levels. Easy peasy.
Despite its size, for some owners it still may be too large to have on permanent display, so when not in use you can always use the built in transport wheels to move the bike out of the way.
The warranty on the bike is for one year but just covers parts.
