Our view - This is a very popular recumbent bike and it's not hard to see why. For under £400 you get a high spec, quality bike that's very comfortable to use. Whilst it doesn't match up to the Life Fitness or Kettler bikes, it costs much less but can still boast some of the same features.
The pre-set programmes are enough to keep you training, plus it has 4 heart rate controlled workouts to ensure your heart rate at the optimum fitness or fat-burning level. You can measure your pulse via the hand grips or if you buy a chest strap the console has a built-in receiver - this is the better of the two methods. You can also design one of your own with the 1 custom programme option.
We found the seat and riding position comfortable and the action of the pedals quiet and smooth.
The console isn't the best that we've seen but it's easy enough to use and displays relevant workout data in an informative way. The bottle holder and built-in transport wheels finish it off nicely making it a practical bike to use.
The warranty is an excellent for the price. It's 10 years on the frame, 2 years on the electronics and mechanical parts and 6 months on the 'wear and tear' bits such as the seat. That may not sound much for the seat but in our users experience you'd have to treat your bike pretty bad to damage it.
This is a well designed bike at a great price that brings the recumbent bike well into the reach of the buyer on a budget.
