Reebok exercise bikes are a popular choice for many simply because it's a well known brand in the fitness industry. If they can make good running shoes and apparel then surely their bikes must be worth a go?
A few years ago there were some quality issues, however, their more recent models are a much better. The manufacture of the machine parts are much improved and designs and functionality have come on in leaps and bounds.
Reebok now target a wide audience, starting with the flashy I Bike just about qualifying as a budget model at around £155, the top 7 series bike is available from around £340. Buying a new model from Reebok is a pretty safe bet. You'll get a well-designed machine from a well-established company and get good value for your money.
Most models come with a 2 year on-site warranty, which considering what you're paying, is a pretty good deal.

Our view - The I-Bike is a stylish bike suitable for beginners to a fitness programme. It's quite a compact bike so if you're short of space it should fit into most spaces. Being a Reebok bike you get the option of a number of different styles including orange, blue and black.There are no pre-set programmes but you do get a fitness test function so you can track your progress.
The action of the pedals was surprisingly smooth and the riding position quite comfortable. However, the resistance control is manual which means you have to twist the knob on the column which is not as easy as pressing a button on the console with electronic control systems on the Reebok 3 Series below.
The console itself is very futuristic in style but some of our users found it took a few minutes to get used to the display. It shows you all the usual data such as time, distance, speed and pulse. The buttons themselves are pretty straightforward to use.
The two year warranty is what you'd expect for a bike in this price bracket.
The I-Bike is a great bike for a particular type of user, that is, someone new to exercise with little space. If this isn't you then the bike below would be a better option.
Our view - Reebok are one of the best known names in the fitness industry and this entry-level bike to their Series range is a good place to start. It's a stylish yet sturdy bike and quite comfortable to use with a well padded saddle - although you can only alter the height and not the distance to the handles. If you're over 6 foot or under 5 foot tall you might want to consider a bike with horizontal saddle adjustment to get a better riding position - see the Bremshey Cardio Pacer which for only a few pounds extra has more to offer.
The 8 pre-set programmes are varied enough to stop you getting bored so you'll get fit soon enough. You can monitor your pulse via the hand grips but there are no heart rate controlled programmes to speak of. The console has big buttons for easy use when you pedalling at top speed and the display is a good size displaying the relevant workout data such as speed, distance, pulse and calories etc.
